In an argentinian colony of Jewish immigrants, at the end of nineteenth century, was born Gertrude, a woman considered to be rather ugly. She grows in the shade of his family and becomes an almost invisible woman. Until one day someone with another point of view, discovers her particular beauty. For the first time, Gertrude leaves behind the invisibility and can see herself in in a different way.
